This page explains what information clickspeedcheck.com handles when you use it. The short version: your scores never leave your browser, the site has no accounts, and we collect as little as possible.

What we store — and where

All of your test data — personal bests, test history, total clicks, theme and sound preferences — is stored in your browser's localStorage on your own device. It is never sent to our servers, because there are none: this is a fully static website. You can wipe everything at any time with the site's "clear records" button or by clearing your browser data.

What we don't collect

Hosting

The site is served by Vercel, whose infrastructure may process standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, as described in Vercel's privacy policy.

Advertising

We may display ads served by Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Where required (for example in the EU and UK), you will be asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set, and non-personalized ads are shown if you decline. You can manage Google's ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Analytics

If aggregate analytics are enabled, they are used only to understand overall traffic (which pages are visited, roughly where from) — never to identify individual visitors. The in-app stats panels you see on the site are computed entirely from your own localStorage data on your device.

Children

The site is a general-audience game suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
