right click test

how fast is your right click?

This right click test measures the speed of your other mouse button. Right click the target as fast as you can for 10 seconds (or pick another duration) — the browser's context menu is suppressed on the target, so every press registers as a click. The timer starts on your first right click and ends with your CPS, peak second and a per-second graph.

Right click speed gets far less practice than left click, so expect a lower score — most people land around 4–6 CPS here versus 6+ on their index finger. It matters most to Minecraft players, where fast right clicking drives block placement for bridging. Compare both hands' worth of fingers: take the standard cps test for your left click, or try the spacebar counter for your thumb.

What is a right click test?

A right click test measures how many times you can press your right mouse button in a set time, reported as CPS (clicks per second). It works exactly like a normal click speed test, but only right clicks on the target count.

Why test right click speed?

In Minecraft, right click controls blocking, eating, bow use and — crucially — block placement, so bridging techniques like god bridging demand very fast right clicking. It is also a good way to balance-train your hand, since most people only ever practice their index finger.

What is a good right click CPS?

Right click scores run lower than left click because the middle or ring finger is weaker and less practiced. Around 4 to 6 CPS is typical, 7 to 9 is good, and fast bridgers using jitter technique on the right button can exceed 10.

Will the right-click menu pop up during the test?

No. The context menu is disabled on the test target while you play, so every right click counts as input instead of opening the browser menu. Right clicks outside the target area behave normally.

Can I do this test on a trackpad or phone?

On a trackpad you can use a two-finger tap or the lower-right click zone if your driver supports it, though dedicated mice score much better. On phones and tablets there is no right click — use the regular click speed test instead, where taps count.
